Updated Watches/Warning/Advisories I ISSUED, NOT NOAA





URGENT- WINTER WEATHER MESSAGE (NORTHEAST)

A Winter Storm Warning has been issued for all of Northeast Ohio, which is in effect from 5 am Wednesday to 11 am Thursday. A winter storm is moving up into this area and is expected to be very significant. Expect around 14-18" of snowfall with locally higher amounts. Be prepared and stay off the roads as they will be very dangerous and possibly impossible to drive on.

A Blizzard Watch is also in effect for Northeast Ohio, Which is in effect from 5 am Wednesday to 11 am Thursday. A winter storm is moving up into this area and is expected to be very significant along with strong gusty winds. Blizzard conditions are very likely with this storm. This area could see whiteout conditions at times. So stay off roads unless it is absolutely important!


URGENT- WINTER WEATHER MESSAGE (NORTHWEST)

A Winter Storm Warning has been issued for all of Northwest Ohio, which is in effect from 4 am Wednesday to 9 am Thursday. A winter storm is moving up into this area and is expected to be significant. Expect around 6-10 inches of snowfall with locally higher amounts. Be prepared and stay off roads as they will be very dangerous to drive on.


URGENT- WINTER WEATHER MESSAGE (WEST CENTRAL)

A Winter Storm Warning has been issued for all of West Central Ohio, which is in effect from 3 am Wednesday to 9 am Thursday. A winter storm is moving up into this area and is expected to be significant. Expect around 7-11 inches of snowfall, with locally higher amounts. You can also expect around 0.1 to 0.2 of an inch of ice accumulation. Be prepared and stay off roads as they will be very dangerous to drive on, and could possibly be impossible to drive on.

URGENT- WINTER WEATHER MESSAGE (EAST CENTRAL)

A Winter Storm Warning has been issued for all of East Central Ohio, which is in effect from 5 am Wednesday to 10 am Thursday A winter storm is moving up into this area and is expected to be significant. Expect around 5-9 inches of snowfall with locally higher amounts, and around 0.1 to 0.2 of an inch of ice accumulation possible. Be prepared and stay of roads as they will be very dangerous and possibly impossible to drive on.

URGENT- WINTER WEATHER MESSAGE (SOUTHWEST)

A Winter Storm Watch has been issued for all of Southwest Ohio, which is in effect from 1 am Wednesday to 11 am Thursday. A winter storm is moving up in this area. It is uncertain if significant snowfall will be produced due to the uncertainty of how cold the temperatures are. Expect around 4-6 inches of snow with locally higher amounts possible. Be prepared to stay off the roads as they can become very hazardous to drive on.

URGENT- WINTER WEATHER MESSAGE (SOUTHEAST)

A Winter Weather Advisory has been issued for all of Southeast Ohio, which is in effect from 2 am Wednesday to 9 am Thursday. A winter storm is expected to move into this area but is not expected to hit this area that hard due to the warmer temperatures. Expect around 2-4 inches of snowfall with locally higher amounts possible. Minor ice accumulations are possible. Be prepared and stay off the roads because the combination of snow, and ice accumulations can cause hazardous roads.
