Updated Watches and Warnings that i have issued! This is NOT NOAAS!
The winter storm watch in the Northeast and Central Ohio is in effect from 11pm Tuesday until 1 pm Thursday. You can expect a Winter Storm Warning to be issued either tonight or tomorrow morning. You can expect around 8-12" with more snow possible in isolated areas. You can also expect blowing and drifting snow on top of it. Expect blizzard like conditions to occur during this time period. Blowing and drifting snow could cause travel to be very dangerous and in some cases become impossible to drive in. By the end of the storm you could see it briefly transition over to freezing rain or a mixing as temperatures should climb between 32-33 at the end of the storm. A blizzard watch is also in effect for this area. A blizzard watch means there is a potential for winds to be 35 mph+ for more than 3 hours along with the snow. This could be dangerous for many areas!
The Winter storm watch for Northwest Ohio is in effect from 6 pm Tuesday to 11 am Thursday. You can expect a Winter Storm Warning to be issued either tonight or tomorrow morning. You can expect a genera 5-9" with a local 10"+. You can expect blizzard like conditions to occur during this time period. Blowing and drifting snow could cause travel very dangerous and is likely to become impossible to drive in.
A winter weather advisory is in effect for southern Ohio, it is in effect from 6 pm TUE to 10 am THU. You can expect around 3-5". You can also expect to see some ice accumulations, it does not seem significant but it does have a chance to be significant. You can expect some minor blowing and drifting snow but nothing to cause a Blizzard Warning. Weather will cause travel to be hazardous and can become impossible to drive in at times!
