425 PM UPDATE FORECAST DISCUSSION
WE ARE WATCHING A CLIPPER SYSTEM MOVE THROUGH SNOW ACCUMULATIONS WILL BE MAINLY LIGHT OF THE 1-3 INCH RANGE BUT THERE COULD BE SOME VERY ISOLATED AMOUNTS OF 4 INCHES. WE ARE ALSO WATCHING THIS WARM AIR THAT COULD CAUSE TEMPS TO GO ABOVE FREEZING BUT STARTING THURSDAY NIGHT WE ARE WATCHING A SYSTEM THAT LOOKS LIKE IT IS GOING UP THE EAST COAST. ONE REASON WHY WE ARE WATCHING THIS CLOSELY IS BECAUSE IT COULD POTENTIALLY PHASE SOONER AND HEAD TO ARE AREA AND PRODUCE A LOT OF SNOW. IT LOOKS MORE LIKELY TO HEAD UP THE COAST THOUGH. BUT WE ARE ALSO WATCHING A VERY STRONG CLIPPER SYSTEM THAT IS GOING TO PHASE WITH MOISTURE AND PRODUCE OVER 6 INCHES OF SNOW THURSDAY NIGHT INTO FRIDAY. WE HAVE TO WATCH THIS CAREFULLY.
