Worst Flu Season In over a decade! We are in a Epidemic state!

The number of flu cases have been going up in the past 2 weeks very fast, and the number of deaths also have been going up very fast as well due to the flu. Some people are hospitalized due to the flu. This is the worst flu outbreak in over a decade. The Flu Vaccine stock is get very low every  day due to the high demand of it! Stay healthy and make sure to use these following rules to make sure and not spread germs and not get sick!

-Get a Flu Shot
- Wash your hands as often as possible for 20-35 seconds
- Use hand sanitizer if soap and water are unavailable
- If you have symptoms get over the counter medication/if symptoms last for more than 24 hours see a doctor as you may need a prescription for antibiotics
- Stay home if you are sick, you will help stop the spread of germs unless it is an absolute emergency
- sneeze and cough in your arm
- do not rub your eyes, nose, or mouth.
- if you have to go out in public use a mask if you are sick
- if you are not sick and there is an epidemic you should were a mask.

We need to stop this Flu epidemic, and we can do so by doing these steps

Warm up then BIG COOL DOWN! Along with possible major storms!

Things are still gonna be pretty cold the next 2 days! Then it is going to warm up and then by the middle of next week we could see temps in the upper 40's to maybe a 50 degree report. Then things will start cooling down, right now we see a storm system, looks pretty strong but we cant determine if it will be a mixing, all snow, or all rain event. Temps will be in the middle 30's during the storm. We will have to wait until it comes closer to determine that. After about 1.5 weeks, lets just say things are going to get extremely active!

Thursday Afternoon Into Friday Morning/ Confidence: HIGH (75%)

There is a clipper going to move through, that is going to bring some snow, it will be light- moderate snowfall at times, this is not going to be to major, but it will be enough to cause enough trouble on the roadways. Expect around 2-5" of snow for the snowbelt counties, and about T-3" for the rest of northeast Ohio. Stay tuned for the latest updates!

A QUIET PERIOD COMING UP ALONG WITH A LITTLE BIT WARMER TEMPS?

WELL WE KNOW THAT WE HAVE HAD A PRETTY ACTIVE TIME SINCE THE FIRST DAY OF WINTER ON DECEMBER 21, 2012. WELL WE COULD SEE A PRETTY QUIET PERIOD FOR THE NEXT 7-12 DAYS. THIS DOESN'T MEAN WE COULDN'T SEE A COUPLE OF SYSTEMS PRODUCE A QUICK 1-3 INCHES. THIS JUST MEANS IT WILL NOT BE AS ACTIVE. BUT IT LOOKS LIKE ABOUT 12-15 DAYS OUT THINGS ARE GOING TO GET PRETTY ACTIVE. AND YOU THOUGHT THIS PERIOD WAS ACTIVE. WELL NOT COMPARED WHAT WE ARE GOING TO BE SEEING. THIS IS GOING TO BE SOME PRETTY DECENT SNOWFALL. WE WILL ALWAYS KEEP YOU UP TO DATE WITH THE LATEST INFORMATION!
